Default Relocating

My husband is possibly taking a job in Largo Md from Florida. We have two children one just started Kindergarten and the other is 2 1/2. I was wondering which places you would choose to live under those circumstances.
Because the company is relocating him there will be some housing allowance but we can't go overboard. I would rank the following as most important:

1. Schools
2. Crime
3. Short commute
4. Greenery

So what do you all think?

I think you will definitely be able to find something that should meet your criteria. You will find that the pricing will pretty much match as you achieve higher rankings on your criteria. Howard County is wonderful for schools and was one of the reasons we moved here. Crime is more prevalent in PG county and within the cities of Baltimore and DC. Of course, if you live in Howard County, the commute is a little longer than it would be from PG. We, however, live in the Howard County part of Laurel (which is located in PG, Howard, and Anne Arundel counties). Would be happy to talk to you more if I can be of any assistance. I know it's hard when you are moving to an unknown area. Good luck!

I sent you a private message- please check your mailbox.

Two areas in AA County to look at are Crofton and Davidsonville. Personally, I would opt for Howard County areas like Fulton or Columbia, and let my hubby commute.
