I've seen people recommending Dobbin Auto care@Columbia, but my personal experience was not great. One time they wanted me to throw $2000 to repair my car just to pass the inspection, and this time I quoted a spark plug replacement+wire replacement for a V6 car, and they wanted $400. They are charging pretty much similar to the dealership that I called, and what's the point of using them then.

The best auto body shop that we take all our cars to is Mudgetts in Westminster MD. Not cheap, mostly work on Mercedes, BMW, Audi etc. but they are extremely trustworthy and do amazing work.

What kind of car? If its Honda/Toyota - try J&D Auto. Their Gaithersburg shop is much more popular, but they do also have a Catonsville location that is also very hight touted.

I second this suggestion. When I lived near Ellicott city, had my Subaru serviced at this service center for oil changes, and had my clutch replaced at a reasonable price. Honest service and decent prices.
