Curly, I pulled what information I could on the area and posted it to my blog (http://teambenya.typepad.com/charles_county_real_estat/2007/10/st-marys-county.html - broken link), Hopefully it can better illustrate where I'm coming from in regards to St. Mary's County.

Have you tried the jobs page on http://www.somdnews.com ? That might be a good place to check. I don't know if that will work for you, but it might be a good starting point.

I lived in Calvert County for eighteen years, just south of Prince Frederick in Calvert County. Of course, I moved to go to college and now live in Florida, so I don't know how the job market is exactly. But there are some local options--the Calvert County Business Park west of Prince Frederick has a good number of small and medium sized businesses which may have room for clerical and marketing type work.

I'd say in the tri-county area there's enough room for something up your alley.

Be careful with Southern Maryland Online. It's a great resource, but if you ask in the forums, beforwarned that some of the posters there are quite odd and strange there.
