Choose between Churchill and Wooten. Richard Montgomery is actually a very ghetto school, its reputation is because there's a special gifted program people from across the county apply for. Living in the area has nothing to do with being in that program which raises the stats for the entire school.

I went to Churchill and it was a very snobby school that felt more like Connecticut or Long Island than Maryland. But academics and sports were pretty good. Wooten was our rival school but they are more down to Earth and honestly I recommend it more.

Richard Montgomery is in the middle of Rockville. Very middle class area. I actually went there. A long time ago. Not all that bad. They are building a complete new school were I played baseball and were the football field was. Ready by 2008?

Agree about Churchill and Wooton, both have good academics. They both have good sports programs but they would get stomped by most other schools in football and baseball.

Would recommend Wooton. My kids go there.

I 2nd pp - Churchill or Wooton are both excellent schools - Churchill is probably marginally better in terms of athletics, but both schools are great.
