Question Living in MD, working in DE?

My partner and I both work in DE. In over a year of looking, we haven't been able to find a house in northern DE that is affordable, private, and free of major problems. We're thinking of moving to MD, probably somewhere near Elkton. I hear two stories about this MD/DE split. Some people say don't do it because the taxes will kill you. Others say there's really no difference. Is anyone here doing this? Which is correct?

In total confusion,
Jade
