There was also no chance of gay marriage or in state tuition for undocumented demo-er guests a couple years ago.

The gun law victories this year have energized the banners like Frosh, Raskin and Gladden so next year will see more restrictions proposed. Wilson has stated since the end of session that he's going after handguns next.

Nice Photoshop.

So what is he talking about in the video I posted where he talks lovingly about carrying a gun? I don't get this guy, seems to be playing both sides.

He is. Read what I linked in the news story. He owns everything he wants to get rid of. I believe in the real world that's called hypocrisy.

While definitely more acceptable in politics ... it's still loony. I'll bet a Boh that bill is DOA.

Maybe. But what happens in MD is that a Delegate introduces a bill every year until the rest get tired of seeing it and finally pass it. Recent examples: expanded gambling, gay marriage, this year's gun laws (Frosh had been putting that in every year for the last 20), gas tax. If they can't get it out of Committee the Committee gets refigured, just like this year.

Actually I think next up is an ammunition tax and liability insurance requirements.

And banning all semi-autos. Don't forget, they're not "taking your guns away", they're just preventing you from buying any more.
