I was just informed by the State of Maryland that I met the minimum qualifications for the job position "Occupational Safety and Health Compliance Officer". They said the next step for me is to take a written examination. I asked what kind of questions would be asked of me in this written examination and they said it is just a general knowledge exam.

I still want to have an idea of the kind of questions they would ask specifically because "general knowledge" seems a bit too broad. So does anyone happen to know what kind of questions are asked in written examinations for the job position "Occupational Safety and Health Compliance Officer" offered by the state of Maryland?

Would they ask something like how the fire extinguisher is supposed to be used (i.e. pull, aim, squeeze and sweep)?

I would imagine that they ask a variety of questions, based on your answers/knowledge - study up.
