Default moving to Reisterstown, MD commuting to DC

Hi,
I'm purchasing a condo in Reisterstown, MD and would like to know if any one knows where the nearest metro/subway is? I'm purchasing a condo in the Timbergrove subdivision...near Treeline Drive.
Is Owings Mills metro/subway near this subdivision? I don't have a car right now, so I'll be commuting via bus/subway & Marc train for a few months. I lived in Randallstown for about 9 months and commuted to DC from there, so I'm a little familiar with the subway system, but I'm only familiar with the M-8 bus line, and that was for Randallstown.
Any insight on commute would be most appreciated!

Not sure where your subdivision is, but the metro can't be that far away. Just out of curiousity, do you basically take a bus from your area to DC then? Or is there another rail line that goes in that direction? Inquiring minds, and all that.

You're going to have a bit of a walk down to Reisterstown Rd, then pick up the M9 bus at Cherry Hill Rd / Reisterstown Rd on the opposite side of Reisterstown Rd (the side with the Goodyear store), take that to the Owings Mills metro stop, hop that, then follow your Randallstown routing from there...
The one and only time I ever tried to get an M9 bus, I waited by the McDonalds for an hour, then WALKED from there to Morningside Heights (with a busted up ankle, makes walking slow and difficult), and never saw a bus heading towards the city, but three heading the opposite direction. This was during the 2:00-4:00 time frame. The email I received about my complaint to the MTA was "Sorry, there was traffic that day, we added buses later on to make up for it". Funny, I never saw any traffic (it was actually pretty light!), and I know for a fact there were no accidents up on the Glyndon end of the route.
But, my uncle used to take it daily (he lived in Morningside and worked off Charles St) to the Metro stop, and I don't recall him ever complaining about it.
