Default Early Intervention

Hi,
I am Carolinaguy's wife, and have a question. I am an experienced Speech Language Pathologist in NC. I currently work with Early Intervention, and absolutely LOVE this population. I have done some preliminary research and have been unable to find any companies that provide Early Intervention services in the Frederick, Maryland area.
If there is anyone who can give me any feedback regarding the following:
1. Is the Frederick, Maryland area safe for home-health providers? (not a majority of gang infested, crime ridden areas?)
2. Is there an Early Intervention/Infant Toddler program or something similar in Maryland?
3. What is the most reputable Speech Therapy provider in the Frederick, Maryland area?
In researching available jobs in the Frederick, Maryland area it seems that there is only a need for SLP's in Skilled Nursing Facilities, I have worked in a Nursing Home before, and do not wish to do that again. If anyone has any feedback or suggestions, they will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

Did a search for "speech pathologist" in "Maryland" as the region (under jobs), and had 13 hits, not all of which were for SNF's.
You're most likely not going to find anything in Frederick though, as the county has only recently (as in the last 5-7 years) started to develop.

My toddler son is currently getting early intervention speech therapy for expressive speech delay through Carroll County Infant and Toddler's Program. They are based out of the Carroll Springs School in Westminster. Perhaps they can tell you about a similar program in Frederick County.
