I just got a job in Lanham. Currently live in Ellicott City. Commute is not working. I am 27 year old single female, looking to buy a condo/townhome (250k). Not really wanting to be in Laurel, Jessup, or Bowie. Also not looking to be in PG county. Any suggestions?

Crofton (AA county) is a reasonable commute to Lanham.

Crofton will be the only shot... However, Rt 3 traffic will be a bummer and Rt 50 in the evening

I would also say Crofton but I don't know if there are any condo/townhomes selling for $250k there. That seems a bit low for that area.

Odenton is a nice, quiet, family community. I have a friend who lives in the Piney Orchard community and he likes it. Not much to do there through. However, you might have a bit more luck finding a townhome in your price range there.

I checked Realtor.com and did see a few townhouses in Crofton in that price range.
