There have been a few threads about Dundalk being the classic working class area. Some people complain that it changed to almost "sketchy". However, the best thing about Meadow Road is that it is very short, traffic would be limited, and you could get to know everyone on the block. If you like it, I wouldn't worry about what other people think.
