I will work at JHH, and move to maryland in this summer. I wonder which area is better for raising kids at elementary school and convenient to the hospital?

You might look through the Baltimore sub-forum. Many people like Bel Air and White Marsh east of the city.

Thanks goldenage1. How about Perry Hall? At the beginning, we haven't a car, and we need to depend on shuttle or transport system to commute to JHH. Thanks

That is problematic.
I don't see how you can easily commute to JHH from Perry Hall or White Marsh or Bel Air without a car. I'm sure there are public busses but you're looking at several hours.
If you cannot have a car it seems you only have two feasible options:
1. Owings Mills. Live near a metro stop (if possible) while your child takes the bus to school.
2. Roland Park school district within Baltimore City. Live within walking distance of the elementary school and take the city bus to work, or the Hopkins shuttle from Homewood campus to JHH.

Thanks. Roland Park seems to be a nice place to live. Is it safe to walk to the JHH shuttle bus stop or take the city bus st night or early morning? As I need a shift duty.

Roland Park is among the most affluent areas of the city, but I can't assure you it is safe. If you can't have a car and have to walk home, I suggest getting a sound alarm or loud whistle.
