I agree. In the past 5 years, the liberals and Democrats in control have

- gerrymandered the districts
- raised the income tax
- raised the gas tax
- raised the flush tax
- implemented a wind farm tax
- impleneted a rain tax

- raised the alcohol tax
- raised the cigarette tax
- raised the highway tolls

- gave in-state tuition to illegal aliens
- gave drivers licenses to illegal aliens
- forced Sparrows Point steel to close due to liberal taxes and regulations

- abolished the death penalty
- violated 2nd amendment rights
- attacked the agriculture business through the War on Rural Maryland
- forced high density development while hindering growth in rural areas
- refused to allow natural gas drilling in Western Maryland hence preventing jobs and economic growth

Yet O'Malley was still reelected and people STILL vote for liberals and Democrats

In fairness to O' Malley some of the things you blame him for go back several Administrations. Keep in mind I can't stand being in the same room as Martin O' Malley and am skipping a dinner tomorrow night because he and Lt. Gov. Empty Suit are scheduled speakers.

Mike Miller has been trying to gerrymander the Congressional districts for decades. It was finally successful in the 2002 election when the delegation went from being split 4/4 to 6/2 Democratic. That had been being attempted as far back as Mandel. It finally came to fruition under O' Malley.

Sparrow's Point was going to close no matter what. It was outdated and inefficient and too expensive (for a number of reasons) to update. See Pittsburgh or Johnstown for the same thing.

The Flush Tax was Ehrlich. The demand for bonds from that fund was underestimated by a factor of at least three. With that one it's a "which way do I pay" situation. The sewer plants are required to implement enhanced ENR removal. Flush Tax bonds at 1.5% or open market bonds at 6%. Which would you rather pay?

PlanMD is just a continuation (slowed by Ehrlich's four years) of Schaffer's Maryland 2020, which morphed into Glendenning's Smart Growth.

The Rain Tax is a federal mandate, not just a MD tax.
