I am moving from Florida and I currently make around $70k. I just received a job offer for $95k and relocation package.

Is this comparable and enough to live on? I looked up housing and its about $2k a month for something in Silver Springs, MD. However, I hear taxes and just about everything costs more.

Thank you for any input!

You certainly ought to do well on the offer, as it is well about the median per capita. Yes, taxes and real estate are higher,

The comparison, depends on what part of Florida you are from, i suggest using bestplaces.net for your specific city.
