Hi,

I am currently residing in Lanaster County, PA and have 2 small kids. I do have pretty good job there but have to travel about 40 min to it. There is an opportunity that opened up on Eastern Shore near Salisbury MD. We do enjoy vacationing in Ocean City, MD but I didn't know if living there is different compare to just vacation. We passed by Salisbury a lot and it seems there is a lot of commerce right off 13. I did search and found very mixed reviews although some of them are old reviews.

I don't know if it is worth moving from Lancaster county that also has a lot to offer but no Ocean.... I do want to be able to see my kids being happy. They do love to swim and go to the pool almost daily during the summer. Please help with the decision. Thank you.

The lower Eastern Shore is more than Ocean City. You could live in Berlin, Denton, Fruitland, Trappe among many others and still be close to the ocean without the tourist headaches.

I would check out the reputation of the employer before going much further with the process. It this with Perdue Farms? If so, frankly I would suggest remaining in Lancaster County.

Berlin is a nice little town. I grew up in that area, moved to Dauphin County PA almost two years ago and plan on moving back to the area later this year.

I knew quite a few people who worked for Perdue Farms and none of them liked that company at all.

This seems like such an odd comment to make.
