I was born and raised in the Glen Burnie area, same with my parents and their parents. My husband also has a handful of generations coming from the Baltimore area. I moved about 2 years ago to Georgia and now am looking to go back. Its a good and bad thing. I like the slower pace of life but at my age, I need a little more entertainment. Bad thing is that place has become horrible as the years go on. When I was a kid I could walk the streets without fear of being bothered. I knew my neighbors. By the time I was in high school all the trash from the city started to filter down during the housing boom (not to mention a HUGE explosion of illegal immigrants) and made living there very unsafe. I have to move back with my husband due to a job relocation, but we've already decided to put off starting a family until we are far from the city. You wouldn't believe some of the things that happen at these schools, and what they cover up for fear of bad publicity.
