I can't not understand anyone who is nothing but negitive about everything. Write what you like and leave it at that. But when I see as many others have someone who can not state what they like without a list doubled in size of what they don't like then that's negitive. Also when someone purposily seeks out treads on this forum with the same poeple over and over to argue with them, it does become personnal. I as I stated before I love Maryland all of it and not being foolish I know there are parts of Maryland all of us do not like. However the topic of this tread is WHAT AREAS DO LIKE IN MARYLAND?
My favorite mall is Columbia
I loved going to the state house in Annapolis last week
I love doing community work in Howard County
I love my fellow Marylanders for all our differences even when I don't always agree with them because that's what makes us Marylanders

If someone had posted to this thread "I just love the traffic on the Beltway -- the other drivers are just so nice" You -- or someone -- would have posted a reply to the effect of "Are you completely insane?!" That's just natural.

Actualy wanting to know of nice areas of Maryland is an actual question. I was hoping to learn about some areas that maybe I wasn't aware of.
Actualy I would not even respond if someone had posted such.

myselfdotcom so I take it all treads would be considered as treadcrapping as you say,
or is that for just treads that are positive about living in the state of Maryland?
I like living here and I like Maryland and would not want to be anywhere's else.
However, here's a complaint I guess I finally found all the rude and snobby people that everyone posts about.

What I mean about threadcrapping is this thread is Wonderful Maryland and people just come in and post negative things about it....and i wasnt talking about you either :P

I'm sorry I'm just upset. I thought I was starting a good tread. I saw alot of people asking for good areas in Maryland and I noticed there was always someone saying stay away from here and there in Maryland. I really thought it would be good so anyone could pull a list of great places in Maryland. It started out good but now I don't know. (sigh)

Don't let the Negative Nellies drag you down. If no one responds to them they eventually go away. What is the expression? Don't feed the trolls?

Actually, the negative post was on topic. Someone said "Where are some nice places in MD?" Someone else said "X is pretty good" and a third person said "Nah, X isn't so great". That's completely on-topic, and is called a discussion. Anyway, I'm not talking about this anymore.

I think Annapolis and southern Maryland are great if you like boating and fishing, especially St. Mary's county where the Potomac River empties into the Chesapeake Bay. And definitely Assateague National Seashore south of Ocean City, and Ocean City itself. Just stay away from Montgomery, PG, Howard, and Baltimore COunties and Baltimore City and Maryland is quite a lovely place.
