Crime/Safety Concerns in Calverton, MD?
I'm considering renting a townhome in Calverton, MD in the Westfarm Community off Calverton Blvd., and I'm trying to find crime statistics or impressions about the safety of the area. I've already looked at the regional crime stats on the Montgomery County Police Department website, but they aren't specific to the neighborhood. I've requested a crime report for my proposed rental, but I'm afraid I won't receive the report before I have to decide on the property.
I just want to be sure I'm not moving into a crime-laden area. This particular development is well-maintained and appears to be quiet, but I know looks can be deceiving. I'd appreciate and welcome any insight. Thanks!
