Fraleys Green vs. Glenn at Hidden Creek Gaithersburg, MD
Hi all! this is my first post. Ive been searching for info on both new construction townhomes in Gaithersburg. We settled on Bozutto's Fraley's Green vs. MI's Glenn at Hidden creek. Does anyone currently live or have bought at either? I fell in love with the layout and the community at MI, but the surrounding area near Downtown Gburg makes me reluctant to move forward. Could anyone provide more information about both areas? We are a young mid-twenties couple looking to buy a new TH in MD. So we arent concerned about the school system, but we know that potential homebuyers would be in the future. please help!

I have been living in Gaithersburg area for 2 years. Now I am ready to purchase a house. I also looked in Hidden Creek and felt the same a you. After 2 more months of searching, I am pretty sure I am going to buy house in Hidden Creek. We are also in our 20nies with no kids

Have you tried to turn left out of Fraley's Green onto Muncaster Mill Road? You'll get yourself killed trying to do that. That was a deal-breaker for me.

Have to agree with FrankLaw about the turning issue, it caused us to look elsewhere too. It's too bad because other than that it seemed like a nice townhome community.

I am planning to buy a town house. Will you please tell me more about Frelys Green of Muscater Mill? I also don't have to worry about school. Please let me know about surrounding too. Highly appreciate.

There was a post similar to this recently...a couple looking to buy at Hidden Creek. As I said before, this is not a good area. Olde Towne is not a good area, and the area surrounding the mall isn't either. The development sure does look nice, but look what's surrounding it...not good.
I'm not sure which schools this feeds into, but I would guess it would be Gaithersburg HS, which does not have a good rep either.
Look into the MoCo crime stats to get details, and good luck!

Wasn't there a thread here recently about Hidden Creek and the builder? Where the buyers were very, very unhappy?

Bowian, you're right! I read that post, and it was very detailed and negative about the agent and I think the mortgage people. I think it was deleted since it was so specific and named people.
