I'm not an expert on fishing, but I will say that there is a lot of water for doing that around here. I know Lake Waterford in Pasadena is open to fishing. Also check out the Severn River and of course the Chesapeake Bay.

" in ann arundel county'

You should learn haw to spell the place you are moving to.

It is Anne

A look at ANY map will help you.

You can choose from the Magaothy, South, West, Rhode and Severn River's, I probably misssed a couple, which ALL feed into the Chesapeake Bay. You have heard of it, haven't you?

Public access has always been an issue in Anne Arundel Co. I'd suggest you check out the county parks website and look there. Some that come to mind in the north county include Fort Smallwood Park, Downs Park, Quiet Waters, and SandyPoint (State) Park.
You can also check out some local fishing groups or web sites such as the Pasadena Fishing Group or Tidal Fish.
