stay at home moms in Eldersburg area? (Fort Meade: renting, buying a house)

We are thinking of buying a house in the Eldersburg area, we currently live in the Fort Meade area. We have a toddler and a baby and there is a lot of activities for them and moms clubs for me in this area. We would be new to the area and would like to know if anyone can tell me about the availability of playgroups and activities for tots up in Carroll County.

I am a stay-at-home mom of a toddler in Eldersburg. In addition to the library's free storytime sessions, there are many formal and informal moms' groups in the area. We moved here a little over a year ago and there are chapters of Moms and More, Mothers on the Move, and other formal playgroups. My son is EXTREMELY shy around other children so I haven't used many of these groups but if you tell me what types of activities you are looking for, I would be happy to see if I can find information on them here in this area.

Try a search on meetup.com - there are quite a few parenting, SAHM, and playgroups on there. You might find some in that area.
