OK! Question?

With much lackluster, I've been following Martin O'Malley's run on the Democratic ticket for Presidency, and I must admit, that what I'm observing from his campaign, is that his run to be President of the United States is taken for a joke and pure political comedy at its best!!! Looking at his poll numbers, the opinions from other candidates about him and what voters and non-voters alike are expressing...that he's quite laughable; not to be taken seriously. Lol!

Is it me..or do you see and feel the same things?!

I think he's running a substantive campaign with loads of policy positions etc. but he's not gaining traction for a variety of reasons, chief among them that unlike Sanders he is seen as Hillary "lite" He also comes across as a little too prepackaged/wooden.Al Gore-ish. That said, I think he has little choice but to run, just to keep his name in the mix for next time.

Not now, not ever. The guy is a stuffed suit, spine optional.

The sad thing is the campaign isn't a joke, jokes are funny. Better to describe the effort as pathetic and barely worth the time it takes to type this message.

He's simply angling for a big job in a possible Democrat administration.

Is the Secretary of Animosity towards Rural Living job still open?

I think Marty missed the boat. The Obama coalition is itching for a more liberal candidate to take on Hillary and he let Bernie get their love. O'Malley did practically nothing for college affordability and hasn't put forth really any grand stands abainst our government's current policy. He's better than the repulsive morbidly obese Garbage Pail Kids caricature currently governing our state but that doesn't mean much to anyone outside MD.

There's nothing joke-like about his run. He'd actually have some name recognition if he was running a joke campaign (a la Trump). He's simply not liberal enough to gain any traction as an anti-establishment candidate (a la Bernie) opposite Hilary.
