Looking for a active adult community in MD (Silver Spring, Ellicott City: apartments, condominiums)

We are 2 seniors looking to move about an hour from our daughter in Bethesda. Our thoughts would be a sort of 55+ upscale condo hi-rise 3 bdm 2 bth with parking under the building. Thankfully we don't need assistance in our daily life. Activities such as Bridge & Mah Jong are important. Would anyone be so kind as to suggest where to look?

Try Leisure World in Silver Spring. Its a rather large community with every type of housing from SF to efficiency apartments. My grandmother has lived there for the past 20 years. It has all the ammenities and many activities.

You can also try Riderwood In Silver Spring. Which is a new community. I think you will like living at this.

In Ellicott City there's the Enclave at Ellicott Hills. It has both townhomes and condominiums. It's supposed to a very active community. The townhomes are sold out but some are available through resale.
