Default How Is Havre de Grace, Maryland, Nowadays?

I'm a former resident and I'm looking to move back; and I'm not looking for anything super-expensive or fancy. Does anybody know what the area is like nowadays? How has it changed?

Hi,

I used to work at Harford Memorial Hospital, until 5 yrs ago. The place has developed a lot, especially with the New golf course called 'Bullerock' and the LPGA tournament that McDonalds hosts in June every year. Its still very rural and real estate prices haven't gone up a lot. But, Aberdeen Proving Ground will have an influx of 5000 people from New Jersey in 2010, which is the time when the real estte market is expected to turn around. So, now is the time to move back and get something for yourself.

I live in Fallston, MD about 20 miles away. So, if I can be of any help, just let me know.

Rakesh

Most of the old marina's are gone now replaced with fancy boatels (sp) and condo's. It is still a nice area and all but has lost some of its ol timey charm.

Has it gotten snobby? Like, have all the old workers that used to make the town up been replaced by BullRockys?
