Default Commute question-andrews afb and rockville

i posted this question before and no one has responded. can someone please help me out?

is it crazy to think perhaps my husband can commute to andrews afb and i can commute to rockville? is there a reasonable location we can live in to avoid too long of a commute? looking for ideas, suggestions, or just to be told "absolutely not" without a second life in my car."

moving from texas so i know absolutely nothing about the area!

thank you in advance,
Kris

This would be a pretty accurate statement, but it depends on your commute tolerance. Around here, 1-1.5 hour commutes tend to be more tolerated than in other areas.

Greenbelt would be your best bet. If you have children beware of the fact that the school system in PG county leaves much to be desired.

I'm going to have to say that living in DC would be a good idea. Both commutes would be reverse of the normal. There are multiple ways to get to both, and the Metro and Metrobus system will get you to whereever you need to go in Rockville with ease.
