Good luck.
I must agree. Hagerstown is a great place to raise a family, schools are great, low pollution, and most of the city has low crime. If you have kids, it's better if you lived in the suburbs, "The North End" is usually known for the bst reputation, although it has lots of sprawl and terrible traffic. Avoid some parts of inner-city Hagerstown, yet other parts have character and are dense and urban. It all matters in what you want. Hagerstown is a great place to live because of it's relatively low cost, low air pollution, many options for shopping, distance to major cities, and the scenery surrounding the city. I have lived in 34 states, and Hagerstown, MD was my favorite place. Now I live in Guam, a beautiful place with beautiful beaches and mountains and a great job, and not a day goes by that I don't consider moving back.

Hello All,
We are relocating from NJ to Hagerstown, MD and buying a new Beazer home in the Greenfield Community - Exit 7A. Can anyone tell me about the near by areas and schools? Our children will be attending Maugansville Elementary School. We have a 14 month old daughter and 5 year old son. Thanks so much for all of your help!
