Hi, my family is strongly considering relocating to Maryland from Long Island. I'm a Towson grad, and my wife and I loved in Hamden for two years, so I'm generally familiar with the area.

However, I was hoping you could she'd some light on Cost Of Living and whether a 95k annual salary would be enough to support a family of 3.

What areas would that stretch in, Timonium? Cockeysville? Baldwin? Most important factor is good schools. Any other rexcomendations or advide would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Might be a bit tight given housing is expensive but you'll probably be fine. You'll get more bang for your money over in Perry Hall and the schools are still solid.

You probably only received one response because this thread isn't in the Baltimore subforum.
We'd need a lot more info re: size of house you need, how much debt you carry, etc. to say with any amount of certainty whether $95K is enough, but assuming you're debt free/have a down payment/aren't expecting a mansion, etc. then $95K is probably fine.
