hi

i currently live in Elkridge,got a job in largo,MD.can anyone please tell me is the commute from elkridge to largo (27 miles) is heavy traffic always?can we reach office within 30mts?

and also if i plan to shift apartment,which area would be better near to largo ,considering the fact that my hus works in elkridge and i have a kid for whom i need to look for preschools if i am moving from elkridge.

is lanham a good option.

please respond.its little urgent .thanks in advance.

Laurel or Greenbelt would be good choices. 30 minute commute from Elkridge is unlikely.

Depends on what time you leave. I would think closer to 45 minutes without traffic.

Seriously, if I were you I'd stay where you are living at now and make the commute, allow yourself about 45 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes for the commute, believe me you would be better off living where you are right now.

Are the apartments & safety a problem over there?

and also can anyone tell me if there are any train services from dorsey(nearby station to elkridge) TO largo?

I don't think so, but you can google MARC train and check out the schedule. I don't know where you're headed in Largo, but maybe there's a metro connection you could make. Seems like it would be easier to drive, though. As for safety, I rarely hear of any problems in Elkridge ( I live here too), but I think the further off of rte 1, the better.
