Does anyone live in a 55+ active adult community in Kent County or know if there are any in Kent County? Any comments or recommendations? Thank you.

Hi again.... just wondering if anyone has any information. I found The Pond at Church Hill, but still looking for others so I can plan a trip to Maryland and have several places to visit. Also, I would appreciate your thoughts about the pros and cons of retiring in Maryland. Thank you!

A couple of other ideas: Symphony Village @ Centerville, MD; Chesapeake @ Easton by Del Webb (this is probably Talbot, CO -- which is next to Kent Co); A Four Seasons community was being planned for Kent Island but that project seems to be on hold -- some envrionmental considerations and the state doesn't seem willing to issue the building permits.

I live at the Pond in Church Hill, MD, only 8 miles from Chestertown or Centreville. I'm property manager and Board member for the Pond. To date 19 units are built, 13 occupied with 6 on the market with 24 building lots. We have TownCondos from 1535 sq ft to 2000sq ft with single garages attached, pricing from $158,000 to $182,000.
