Hello, I am a 40-ish single female, no kids, possibly relocating to work at APG this year. I would like to live within 30 miles of APG, in a fun, safe town that has a bit going on. I like to play tennis, bike ride, hike, go to coffee houses and that kind of thing. Probably looking to purchase a townhome. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

White Marsh, Perry Hall, Cantonsville, Hunt Valley, Bel Air, Forest Hill, Fallston, Columbia (though may be a bit farther out) are all good places to look.

Try looking at Havre de Grace. It's small and I wouldn't say there is a lot going on, but it has an actual main street and it has character.

i'd suggest BelAir. lots of nice new townhouses there and there is a small town center. APG isn't exactly the hub for excitement so if that's what you're looking for you're going to have to go south to Baltimore or farther south to Columbia on 95. good luck!
