Where do you get your crab cakes? I've had some good ones...but none that would keep me from leaving MD! LOL In fact, the absolute best I ever had was actually in Myrtle Beach, SC.

If I needed to work(just retired), I would open a stand myself.
I just visited my father in Ohio and I found a stand called Tropical Sno. They have a web site, but it does not do a good job with their site locations. It's a company HQ'd in Utah. Their shaved ice is as good if not better than what we had in Hawaii. I could put a lot of snow cone or snow ball stands out of business in Maryland if I wanted to.

I always want to leave but I keep coming back to it not being viable for me to move.

A good crab cake is not worth staying in this dump of a state. I found just as good seafood when I was traveling anyway.

Most of the crabs sold at restaurants in Maryland are actually shipped from either the Gulf Coast (Florida, Louisiana, Texas, etc) or overseas (ie Vietnam).
