I don't know if other areas of Maryland have these Food Truck (Festivals), but south of Baltimore in AA county, we have Food Truck Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at various places, usually at a local volunteer fire department.

Parking is free and no charge except for what you buy to eat. If you think it's just hot dogs and other junk, you would be wrong. Depending on which trucks show up, often 10 or more, you could have Greek, Italian, Pizza, Cajun, Seafood, Asian, BBQ, cupcakes, funnel cakes, ice cream, snow balls, and more.

These are trucks that offer their wares at workplaces during the day, and have found a way to increase their revenue by coming out between 4 and 8 PM.

The season will be over at the end of October this year. Pretty sure they will be back again in the spring.

Nothing wrong with that. If you need any tips on how to make good pancakes, I'm your guy.

My wife and I might be stopping by the one in Glen Burnie this evening. I understand that Rocco of Rocco's Pizza in Glen Burnie sold the pizza joint several years ago, but operates one of the trucks that will be there tonight.

The 8in focaccia deep dish is pretty good.

Thanks for the tip.

I've never had a deep-dish pizza, and am pretty sure I'd prefer the thin-crust Neapolitan style, but I'm also pretty sure that if there's a local deep-dish pizza that's worth trying, it's one made by Rocco.

First time I tried to get one they were sold out. Don't get there too late.
