I have always had an odd nostalgic interest of remembering things from growing up. I remember watching tv late at night in the 90s...wnuv night watch, remember they would show perry mason, remember cartoons would come on around 5am...but their is one show I fail to remember the name. It was a musician type show, and it started with multiple musicians names on the screen. One specific name i remember seeing is nat king Cole. I would say the show was 50s or 60s. Anyone who grew up in the 90s watching late night tv have any clue?

I don't recognize the show, but there is television forum here on CD where someone might know.

I always think of Nat King Cole with Soul Train.
It was probably the bought, and still owned Sofa airings of the Original Ed Sullivan Show. If it was Sullivan you'll see more than Nat on there. You'll also see how goofy that show could be like all variety shows were/could be. And how great it could be with the Stones, Beatles, Doors, Sly And The Family Stone...........
If you were really cool, and a lot older than the OP you watched The Midnight Special but that was 10, 20 years before the early 90's. There is another equally famous show but my brain is not working right now, and I would have to look for the DVD. I have it handy. I will look later today.
Anyway some info on Sofa;

The Old Grey Whistle Test was the other show besides the Midnight Special. But it was on the BBC. Some PBS Stations would air the show. I am trying to remember how I watched it. I will have to do some research. And Dick Cavett's first show had a lot of interesting acts (Cavett's Show was all around great!)

Sorry Beef, I got carried away. Now I want a Steak.

Perhaps it was the actual Nat King Cole show?

He did have one for a time.

That's the one I'd guess.
