What is going on in La Plata. Or Fredricksburg?

You are going to DC/Metro, or Baltimore/Metro for work.

How would we know? OP started a thread, then disappeared as people kept responding.

There is not much here for me. I find it boring. Many of the stores I like are not even here. The people are not great here either. I also have too many bad memories, which are too personal to share.
Once the house is sold, I would not choose to say here..

I apologize for the ambiguous post. The purpose of this post was not to be specific. I just wanted to know information about other areas, and go from there.

Once I move, my parents will be moving too, so I would have no family in Charles County.
It is nice there though. I have been there a few times.

I want to look elsewhere and find a new job. I am a retail supervisor and I attend college.

LaPlata is not bad, I do not want to be there though. I do like Fredricksburg. I am looking in both areas for work. I want to find a potential area first, then do a more thorough job hunt. I currently work in Bel Air, but do not plan to work there long. I have found some potential jobs in northern Va, but it is expensive.

I am young, no offense taken. I work in retail as a supervisor, but also attend college. There are no limits. I want to find an area where I could potentially go, then look for more jobs in that area.
