Default Frederick nightlife?

Hello all. I will be visting Frederick, MD this weekend for a donor relations conference at Hood College, and I'll be staying at a hotel downtown.

For those of you familiar with Frederick, what are some of the key nightspots (clubs, bars)?

Thanks!

really for some good bars just (if you are downtown) just walk on to market street and pick a place. There a quite a few bars that will be busy. Some that I would recommend Firestones and Old Towne Tavern, I also think Cafe Nola (sp?) is good. Also Pastimes Cafe on Rt 85 in the Hampton Inn. There are plenty of others, but basically walk around downtown a little (just stay away from South St.) and you will find plenty to do.

Isabella's (on Market St) is technically a restaurant, but they do have a bar, and you could snack on tapas while having a drink. My experience there has been that the bar patrons are a friendly bunch [although usually I am there for the excellent eats].

I will be with several friends from work, mostly girls, and they like to dance, all in their early 20s. So I'm looking for a club, or at least bars with dancefloors. What do you all recommend? Thanks

Not sure about a club in Frederick?? All the locals go to Old Towne Tavern to get sloshed but there isn't any dancing.

If you go to the clubs on Market st. plan on a cab if you drink. Then again that is always a good idea.
