I keep hearing that car insurance is high in maryland, but "high" is relative. Can people tell me what their car (year, make), city, and insurance is. If you don't feel comfortable using your info can you give me an example of what someone else is paying. Thanks.

I don't see where it's all that high, personally. I've got a 2005 Chevy van, my wife drives a 2002 1/2 Silverado, both are fully covered, and our premium is about $700 year. Granted, we're both over 40 with clean driving records, but still. Seems pretty cheap to me. We live in Carroll County; not sure if that affects rates or not.

We live in Howard, for my husband and I it's $150 a month- since we pay monthly, we pay a little more than if we paid yearly, or every 6 months.
that's for full coverage and PIP on 2 cars, and we're 30 and 27.
2008 Honda CRV
2002 Acura TL (considered a luxury vehicle)

Two vehicles in PG County (Laurel). One with full coverage (2000 Subaru) and one with liability only (1988 Volvo). I'm the only listed driver and I've never had an accident or ticket but still pay about $1,100/year.
