Ocean City MD
I'm looking to spend a weekend in OC with the sig. other and best friend with her husband. I just wanted to know if there's anyone with OC experience that can recommend some good places to stay at and eat at?
We're looking to go around Mid-May

Just FYI, the boardwalk has lots of old, shirtless, belly hanging out, harry-backed guys.
Wait, wait... most of Ocean City is like that.

Hi thinking of spending a long weekend in OC myself. Romantic getaway with wife. Sounds like OC has degraded over the years? I'd like to get a hotel on the water, oceanfront. Any recommendations? Or should I pass and keep driving down to Hilton Head or something.

Go north OC- it's much nicer and not as crazy.
As for eating, our fav is Captain's Galley- just before you enter OC on RTE 50- on the right across from the Outlets- but back in there a little. It's on the water and has the best crab cakes.

For eating here are some restaurants: Antipasti on the main drag. Sunset Grill off of 50 in Ocean City. Crab Alley off of 50 in Ocean City (all you can eat crabs).

The Fenwick Inn is a decent hotel, and well priced- it has a pool as well.
