Thanks for your help
Please excuse my writing mistakes, I am not an english speaker. I want to say thank you for helping me.
I've asked about Aberdeen and you've replied me, and so I found out some things about this place. I am a student from Europe and I'll arrive in Aberdeen with a Work&Travel program. We were told a few weeks ago that we have a job in Baltimore, and now I've found out that we'll work in Aberdeen. Do you think that it will be difficult for us to get a job there( we are interested to work as a waitress, in a fast food, .. for 6.5-7-8 $/hour). Thanks again.Maybe we'll meet in Maryland

I am thinking of moving to Lewisburg, Ohio. I am from Wichita, Kansas and I may have an opportunity in the future to transfer job locations with Pratt Industries ie: Lewisburg Container/Love Box in order to get closer to my Daughter in Chicago. I would like any information you can give me on Lewisburg, apartment/house rental price ranges for two bedroom, and what there is to do in Lewisburg. If you have any information on Lewisburg Container on how it is to work there would also help me. Are the people friendly, is it a safe area to live, etc. Also, if anyone can tell me what the drive time is between Lewisburg and Chicago. I figure about 5 hours, but would be nice to hear from someone who has actually driven it. This would be a major move for me as Wichita has been my home for many years and I could use all the info you can give.
Thanks,
DMoore.

I appreciate your help, I accepted a job in Annappolis and plan on moving from Connecticut at the end of the summer. We are looking at houses south of Annapolis. We are sort of zero-ing in from Edgewater to Deale and would appreciate any and all advise you would care to give.
Thanks

Rural Roads or Urban Areas?
Dear UncasvilleKen:
I worked in a lot of schools in Anne Arundel County, and the area from Edgewater on South is quite beautiful and peaceful. Do you prefer to live in a more rural setting or in a town or city setting? on the water? with a lot of acreage? in a condominium setting or single family home? Do you have children planning to go to school? How close to Annapolis do you care to be? All these things make a difference, as well as the price that you can afford in a home. Give me some more information, and I would like to respond more specifically. There is a lot of open land, beaches, waterfront property, rural roads, as well as proximity to urban areas.
Sincerely,
Richard McCollim

Chestertown?
Hi we are an American/Norwegian couple with two small kids currently living in Norway. We would like to move back to the states and have set our eyes on MD eastern shore. We are searching for land in a non developed area near or with access to water where we are going to build our dream passive solar home Does anyone know anything about Chestertown area? Schools? Crime? Taxes?
Very informative forum by the way

City Info requests
I've recently moved to Mount Airy, MD (the Carroll County portion) from Huntingtown, MD (in Calvert County). I must say the areas are comparable. Very nice new homes (now that some of the farm land has been subdivided) and many older charming homes. It all depends on what you're looking for and your price range. I've seen homes from a few hundred thousands for over a million (my next door neighbor is building a monster house... don't know what they do but it must have paid well).
I've got many coworkers who have lived out this way for many years and they have all been very pleased with it. My particular location has high schoolers going to South Carroll High in Sykesville which, while it's an older school, has a college like curriculum that I feel is awesome for the kids.
It seems to be migrating from a long standing "backwoods" reputation to something more substantial. I think Mount Airy will be viewed as an extension to Frederick if that city keeps growing at it's current pace.
Hope that helps.

Nottingham - Safety
Hello,
We recently bought a townhouse in Nottingham. I have a small kid. I would like to know how safe this are is? It seems very convenient as it is closer to 695, malls ets and the location seems safe and quiet. Does anyone have any experience in this area? Thanks.
