Default Howard/Baltimore/Harford County

I am looking for affordable places to live in the above three counties. I am probably looking to rent (~900/month). I only need a one bedroom apartment, but two bedrooms would be great. I am also considering buying (~180k range).

My big concern for where I move is that it’s clean and safe. I don't mind if it doesn't have the newest fixtures or appliances. I just don't want a critter or crime problem. I have a fiancé that is expecting and her safety is my up most concern.

Any advice on places to look would be greatly appreciated.

you won't find that kind of rent or buying in Howard County. You may as well cross that off your list. Howard County is the third richest county in the US. I can't' speak of Baltimore or Harford. For that price range I'm not sure if you will find anything in either of those counties either without being near some type of crime. What state are you coming from?

I agree with the above poster that Howard County would probably be out of your price range. However, there are plenty of nice areas in Baltimore or Harford County you could afford. Do you know where you will be working?
