Preschools in Frederick, MD?
I am new here and trying to find a preschool in Frederick. Does anyone have any recommendations of a good preschool?

MOMS Club® Frederick City, MD
go to the contact link and tell them you want information about preschools- every year they publish a preschool book for the county and host a "Preschool Fair" at the Holiday Inn on Rt. 40.
Good luck

preschools near Frederick, MD
We've lived here about 10 years - both of our kids attend COBLC, Church of the Brethren Learning Center & I highly recommend it. There is usually a waiting list but it's worth the wait. Great education & attention to the kids. Wee Folk is another top notch pre-school. Both schools have strong academics & small size classes. I would stay away from the LaPetite, Kindercare type of places...more like day care in a strip mall setting. Hope this helps.

I looked at several preschools in the Frederick area with my first little one. I was quite impressed with Church of the Brethren. I also liked Wee Folk. Both are close to Baker Park and the Library for afternoon picnics and outings.

I will add another query that might be useful to others here as well.
Is there an online forum for moms that benefits parents in Greater Frederick area?

There is a nice, small Montessori preschool in Urbana, which is about 4 to 5 miles south of Frederick off of I-270. It is called Urbana Montessori Academy. If you are commuting to DC/Montgomery county, this may be one of the options. This is not a Church based school. IF yyou do a google search, you may hit their website.
