Wedding Ceremony Locations (Frederick, Walkersville: to rent, chapel, weddings)

I am looking for locations I can use in the Frederick/Walkersville area for my wedding ceremony in September 2006. I have researched most of the parks with no luck. We have decided against the parks because it does not insure us the privacy we would like. We are open to any suggestions, however we are looking to spend no more than $400 for a location. We would prefer something within a 30 minute distance of the Mt. Pleasant Ruritan Club, in Walkersville, MD.

I am open to such ideas as campgrounds that have a large building we can use or other locations such as these.

there is a beautiful little stone church on the appalachian trail where it crosses alt. US 40 between middletown and boonsboro. It sits across from the South mountain Inn. Ive seen weddings there and its a beautiful church and surroundings.

I can't get the link to activiate, but you could look at the website for the Old South Mountain Inn. It indicates that the church is the Dahlgren Chapel and it's located across the road from the inn. http://www.oldsouthmountaininn.com/history.shtml Sorry, that's the best I could do.

Have you considered Rose Hill Manor in Frederick? They are part of the parks & rec but seem to have variety of areas available to rent and would be considerably closer to Walkersville. www.rosehillmuseum.com/

Thanks for the info. We did look into both those locations but unfortunatly both were too small. However we did end up finding and booking 2 locations. 1-Primary completly outdoors & not covered (Frederick, MD - Baker Park Bell Tower) and 2nd - Gathersburg MD - Picnic Pavillion (Bohrer Park at Summit Hall Farm).
