Default Any help would be great!

Thinking of Maryland as a place to relocate from NJ. We need good schools and are looking for a semi large town. We don't want to be near Baltimore or anywhere that is congestive. Just some mid size, family friendly town that is economically stable. Any suggestions would help.

Westminster, Carroll County. There's lots others, but that's the one I'm familiar with. Rush hour traffic is still an issue though!

Hello Family Mom,

I live in Carroll County. Eldersburg actually, that and sykesville are very nice, pretty much most of carroll county, and the schools are wonderful. It's not to small, but not too big either. Best of wishes in your search

Let me offer another place that at first may seem maybe out of the question but I would think that it would be worth looking into and that's the City of Bowie, now know you're going to get a lot of people that'll say that that's not a good place to live or that it's expensive, while to be quite honest the whole state of Maryland is kind of expensive, however, Bowie kind of puts you in and between Annapolis and Washington, DC and Baltimore, now the major highways during rush hour is going to be kind of crowded however in and around the city of Bowie itself traffic is not that bad. It's just another place to consider, I lived there for over 20 years and never had a problem. Like I said just another place to consider.
