Default Burtonsville / Columbia

I'm thinking about relocating to either Burtonsville or Columbia.
Looking for a condo / townhouse to rent where it's safe and quiet.

What are your opinions on these to cities?
Any neighborhoods I should look into? Definetely avoid?

Personally, I would choose Columbia- but not near Tamar Dr.

Default choose Columbia

I grew up in Burtonsville. It was a lovely area in the early 90s but not so much now. Many of the people who lived there in the 90s have moved to Columbia.

If you do end up in Burtonsville, don't move to the Mcknew Rd area. Parking is horrible and the upkeep of property is not a priority.
