Default Anyone from Pasadena 1977-1980ish

Hello everyone,
I spent some fun times growing up in Pasadena (moved to Texas in 81) and was wondering how much everything has changed...I lived off of Mountain road in what was a new neighborhood very close to Magothy River?. I believe it was considered part of Lake Shore ?
-went to Jacobsville elementary 77-3rd grade, 78-4th, 79-5th)
-Chesapeake Middle Sch 80-6th grade
-Used to hang out at small mall that started with an H Harendale?, Jumper Mall,
-Marley station was a big deal when it opened-was an actual Mall..haha
-Used to go to the Glen Burnie fair--I think that was scary but fun?
-Mostly spent alot of time running around all the woods where we lived-swimming in the Magothy which I remember as being disgusting but fun
oh well many memories and still have a few friends from that area that have moved on to other parts of the country...

Many

Default Hi Many -- not much changed in Pasadena

Hi Many,

I live in Pasadena and graduated from Chesapeake High School in 1980. Not many things have changed. The traffic is still bad on Mountain Road, and the creeks are still dirty (but people still swim in them).

My son goes to Jacobsville and it is still a nice, clean, friendly school with good teachers and staff. He is going into the 4th grade.

I think there is a little more crime now than there was when I was growing up, but mostly just hoodlum teenagers with nothing better to do. ha ha

It is still a nice place to live and lots of water around and things to do. The price of real estate is ridiculous, as it is everywhere!

-Julie
