Default Insurance Prices Baltimore

Hi,
We are planning on moving to Maryland from New York. What can I expect by way of insurance prices. I feel like I pay a ton for insurance up here. I have a friend in Maryland who recommended using a website to transfer my car and home insurance. The name of the site was QuickLowQuotes.
I went to QuickLowQuotes and it looks like my insurance will be a little less.
If anyone knows who has the lowest can and home insurance rates in Maryland please post it here and I will give them a ring.
