This what it was that you asked for and I provided it for you now you say I have proved there aren't ...nice try to spin but you asked and I gave you the answer .You didn't think there was an area and you had to go back 7 years to find one crime that happens almost daly in everytown in PG county. There are safe areas just not in PG county and to get back to the thread Charles coub=nty was safe till they stated running all the crooks out of PG and into Charles.Crime is everywhere but there is a difference ...rape ,murder stabbings...more of that in PG county then in all of New Hampshire and Vermont in one year!Sure maybe a stolen car ...things like that but rape ,murder stabbings..........no

You made this entire post about PG county when in fact the original poster wanted to hear about Charles County.
You wanted to make a point but failed. You posted about a city and how safe the city is but failed. The city you posted only got National attention due to the murders that happened in the city.
I bet those victims families do not consider Hanover, NH 100% safe.
I love living in PG county I have never been a victim to any crimes nor have I ever witness any crimes in PG county. I do not have any friends/Family members that had ever been a victim to crimes in PG county.
I live in a very family friendly community in Upper Marlboro in Pg county and love every minute of it. I would Never trade in my community in PG county for anyother community. My neighbors are great citizen and wonderful people.
My neighbors consist of Principals,Teachers,Military families,Secret service(I can never give up address of this person),CEO's,Business-Man and Women,IT specialists,Government Employees,Government official Campaign Managers. These are the neighbors I know and these are the positions they hold.
So you see it is 100% wrong to judge all of PG county citizens as criminals. It is also wrong to judge 100% of PG county as having high level of crimes.
