Annapolis fireworks are very good. They float a barge in the harbor with the fireworks going up from it. I've seen them from the water and also the land. Water is better but have to deal with all the drunk sailors and power boaters pulling up anchor and weaving about leaving in the dark afterward. On shore, there is a big crowd in downtown Annapolis. The hassle there is the traffic jam getting out. It can last an hour or more. Best bet is just to come in the afternoon and stay late and enjoy the city dock area.
