Default Pasadena Md to the Pentagon by Metro

Hi, First time ever posting. My husband has just got back from Afghanistan and he works at the Pentagon. With the gas prices we decided he should start taking the Metro. Does anyone know how he could do that from my area and can you find the schedule times? It would be during rush hour.

Try the Trip Planner feature on Metro's web page (wmata.com). I'm not sure what bus service is like out your way so you might be looking at a long drive to metro. good luck!

You may want to check out Rideshare . I have family members who live beyond the Metro but take a commuter bus to the New Carrollton Metro - Route 921. This is not a regular bus but one for commuters. Look at the mTA's page and hit Commuter Bus for schedules. Of course, from New Carrollton you can take the subway on in. Another option may be to drive to Bowie State or Odenton and take the MARC train into Union Station where you can change to the subway.

There currently is not very good bus service to Pasadena, his best bet is to drive to the Odenton MARC station or the Dorsey MARC station (whichever is more convenient, I think Dorsey is...) and take the MARC down to Union Station. He'll have 2 transfers, which shouldn't be too bad and end up at the Pentagon station.
