We are looking at homes in Arnold, MD. We would be moving from Odenton, the Seven Oaks community. How are the schools and communities in Arnold? I've read good things about the schools, except for Magothy Middle. It seems that a few years back the administration wasn't so hot. Any info provided would be appreciated!

My sister and her family live in Winchester on the Severn subdivision and her two young girls go to Arnold Elementary. It is an awesome school and if I could afford to live there (need 4 BRs), I would buy a house there. My husband got transferred to the Pentagon and we've been househunting. We have to go further south in order to afford the home that we need. Check out the website: www.greatschools.net very helpful

For those looking for housing in Arnold, try community of Campus Green right across from commnity college. We have some split level houses and split foyers on sale now.The two story colonials with four bedrooms are sold.
Prices range from $400,00 to $469,000. Schools are Belvedere Elementary, Twin Rivers complex and Severna Park High.
There are some newer houses going up but they are over $500,000.
