Hi...I live in the Elkneck area right outside of North East. My daughter attended NE Middle school...pretty good education program, they will actually work with your child and are good about receiving parental input. Now my daughter is attending North East High School....not bad either the teachers will work with you but you have to ask they wont do anything extra unless you ask. She is also attending the Tech highschool..Cecil county Tech school...excellent...I cant say enough good things about it. They offer all types of programs from auto mechanics, electrical, culinary, DNR, cosmatology etc....very very good school and most graduate with a degree is one of those chosen fields. As for the area, its abit redneck like out here, but not bad, crime is low, shopping is good, NE has alot of nice little resturants and quaint shops. Also alot of family activities going on always. You also have the state park right up the road for camping, swimming, boating, fishing, its very nice. Check out the area its pretty nice, also check out the Elk Neck area very nice homes and close to everything. Good-Luck
